London Williams, a 16-year-old junior at Louisiana Virtual Charter Academy, has been named Division 4 Young Marine of the Year by The Young Marines. A master sergeant in the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office Young Marines, London excels in academics, athletics, and community service. She will compete for the national title in April. Passionate about service, London plans to join the U.S. Marine Corps and study animal science in college.
